Meant to foster an open and thought-provoking conversation, town-hall meetings bring together between 20 and 50 independent optometrists and generally last approximately 2 hours. During these “doctor-only” forums a practicing, independent optometrist discusses everything from the obstacles facing today’s optical industry and their impact on patient access, to how VSP doctors get paid.

Doctors who attend town halls enjoy dinner together and are encouraged to ask questions and share their opinions throughout the event. To ensure all questions are addressed, VSP staff members from each of the company’s lines of business—VSP^® Vision Care, Marchon^®, Eyefinity^®, and VSP Optics Group–are on hand.
